Born in Dallas and now residing in Waxahachie, Clay Hinds is a life-long Texan who prides himself on his reputation as a highly skilled litigator dedicated to meeting the needs of his clients. Clay graduated from Waxahachie High School before receiving his preparatory education from Southern Methodist University (Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, 1985). He attended law school at St. Mary’s University of San Antonio (Juris Doctor, 1988).

Clay has handled a wide variety of civil and criminal matters, with a focus on assisting individuals with serious personal injuries. He has also tried worker compensation cases, nonsubscriber cases, breach of contract cases, divorce cases, criminal cases, construction cases, land boundary disputes, mechanic lien enforcement cases and others. Clay has been an attorney on several multi-million dollar cases including personal injury and commercial cases, industrial injury cases, construction site cases, medical services cases and wrongful death cases. He has mediated many cases as a participant and a few as the mediator.

Clay is a member of the Ellis County Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, and a 22-year member of the American Association for Justice. He has been licensed since November 5, 1988 to practice in all areas of law in Texas, and practices in all counties in Texas. Clay was originally a Dallas resident but has made Waxahachie his home since 1971.
